Notification channel for suspected misuse
Signal Group provides a confidential whistleblowing channel through which the group's personnel, partners, customers and other stakeholders can raise concerns about potential misconduct or unethical behaviour. The channel covers all companies belonging to the group.
Who is the channel for?
The whistleblowing channel is open to anyone who has observed or suspects something in the operations of the group or its companies that may be:
Contrasting with the law or official regulations
in conflict with the group's values or operating principles
ethically questionable
We primarily encourage employees within the group to discuss the matter with their own line manager, but the whistleblowing channel offers an alternative and secure way to raise the issue.
This is how you announce
We encourage you to describe the observation as accurately as possible so that the matter can be investigated efficiently. All notifications made in good faith will be taken seriously and handled impartially.
Please note that unnecessary personal data must not be included in the notice.
Confidentiality is guaranteed
We guarantee that the whistleblower's identity will be protected and that the matter will be handled confidentially. The reporting system is secure and encrypted, and communication will remain anonymous unless the whistleblower chooses otherwise.
How are notifications handled?
We are committed to ensuring that no negative consequences result for anyone who has made a report in good faith.
The processing of notifications proceeds as follows:
The notification is received and registered
The seriousness and credibility of the notification are assessed
The matter is reported to the group management along with recommendations for action
The board decides on further action - no one can handle a notification concerning themselves
Every notification will lead to an investigation commensurate with its severity
If necessary, the matter will be referred to the authorities or external assistance will be used in the investigation.
Notifications are kept for the period required by law, after which personal data will be anonymised or completely deleted.
